The Air pollution in Indian cities is Alarming.1)We should have a national policy for public transportation through battery, solar, gas or other eco-friendly energy resources.2)There should a compulsion of placing an Activated carbon gas filter(like gas mask) for each diesel runned vehicles and attaching it to the chimney of Thermal power plants.3)There should be massive plantation drive to create big patches of Peepul(aswasth)Jungle, which will produce more Oxygen.

TO IMPROVE AIR QUALITY IN CITIES ---- EFFICIENT CAR POOLING COULD BE DONE THROUGH MOBILE APPS & GOVT SHOULD GIVE LOTS OF INCENTIVES TO DO IT. ALSO, GOVT COULD HAVE ALL-INDIA OPEN COMPETITIONS FOR INVENTING VERY LOW COST PARTICULATE FILTERS FOR DIESEL CARS & THERMAL POWER PLANTS.

DELHI AIR IS WORLD'S MOST POLLUTED! WE HAVE ACHIEVED GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN POLLUTION! FOREIGNERS ARE THINKING OF REDUCING TENURE OF POSTING IN DELHI! WE NEED LOW COST PARTICULATE FILTERS FOR DIESEL VEHICLES AS FOREIGN ONES COSTS MORE THAN Rs. 1 LAKH. INDIA NEEDS EURO V & VI FUELS URGENTLY. CAR POOLING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT MUST BE URGENTLY IMPLEMENTED. WE MUST ALSO RETIRE ALL OLD & INEFFICIENT COAL BASED THERMAL POWER PLANTS. SO MANY THINGS CAN BE DONE! BUT WHAT ARE WE DOING TO REDUCE POLLUTION?

THERE IS UNNECESSARY WASTAGE OF PAPER IN CIRCULARS OF DEPUTATION POSTS BY VARIOUS MINISTRIES & DEPARTMENTS! HARDLY ANYONE BOTHERS ABOUT THEM AS MOST STAFF ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPLY! MORE EFFICIENT & ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY WAY IS TO HAVE A WEBSITE WHICH WOULD ADVERTISE ALL DEPUTATION POSTS. ALL INFORMATION WOULD BE AVAILABLE AT ONE PLACE IF SOMEONE IS INTERESTED. SO MUCH BAMBOO IS CUT DOWN DUE TO WASTAGE & SO MUCH ENERGY IS WASTED IN CIRCULATING TO ALL DEPARTMENTS! THIS HAS TO BE AVOIDED IN FUTURE.

IT WAS QUITE A SURPRISE THAT DELHI CM WANTED HIS OFFICERS TO COME UP WITH OFF-BEAT IDEAS TO PROMOTE ENVIRONMENT IMPROVEMENT! IT WAS QUITE A DISAPPOINTMENT THAT NO ONE CAME UP WITH ONE DURING THE MEETING! HAVE THEY COME UP NOW! CENTRAL GOVT SEEMS TO BE NOT INTERESTED IN OFF-BEAT IDEAS AS MANY FORUMS IN MyGov HAS SUGGESTED MANY OFF-BEAT ODEAS INCLUDING ME BUT GOVT HAS NOT RESPONDED TO ANY OF THEM! SEEMS THEY WANT STALE & NORMAL IDEAS! TOO BAD FOR INDIA & THE WORLD.

Respected Shri Modi Ji , The people involved in supporting your solar mission should be well treated by the Government agencies and the PSU's specially on the payment fronts . They must be paid with in the time limit as per the contract and if they fail to honor the contract , a responsibility should be fixed of the head of the organisation and money should be paid with 18% interest to the Investor . Solar Mission seeing lot of such issues in project execution and need Yr directives. ,

Please make a ruling that no construction shall be within 15 meters of a river. Allow existing buildings to continue within 15 meters. Allow reconstruct with the same footprint area and height within 15 meters. Please do some restriction at the centre government level so that it takes effect all across India. If not in another 10 years, there won't be any rivers.

Environment is to be first priority, especially rivers. Rivers are dying everywhere in India. But no legislation to protect rivers. It is so funny that we care too much about sea shores, but not even caring rivers. People encroach rivers everyday. There is not a single law in this country to protect rivers. CRZ keeps building 100 meter away. People build even on river bed, no body cares. Please do something to protect our rivers. Amend National Building code and restrict construction in 15 m
