Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

The government could consider adopting a ‘deemed approval’ system that will result in faster approvals and increased accountability of the bureaucracy.A stable taxation regime that encompasses simplified taxation laws —a flat 20% tax on corporate pretax profits, removal of all tax exemptions and incentives — will reduce tax litigations. Regulations should focus on protecting the rights of consumers by creating conditions for fair and free competition in various markets.

The government should sell its stakes in government companies and utilise the funds to improve the quality of ‘soft’ infrastructure (education and health) and basic infrastructure services (irrigation, railways, waterways). The Centre can raise Rs 125 trillion by selling its stakes in the 250 central public sector undertakings. Also, privatisation and professional management will help improve the financial performance of the PSUs and delivery of utilities to citizens.

respected sir. my name is dipakumar pandya and i live in lunawada dist : mahisagar gujarat i /we all the mahisagar people want to connect us by railway and it's shortest route between mumbai to delhi so that pls connect by the railway and route is mumbai ,surat ,vadodara,godhra,lunawada,modasa,udaipur ,ajmer,rewari ,gurgaon,delhi so pls sir think about it ,and in our district no railway connectivity so its a humble request and you also lived in emergency so kindly think about my this train route

sir, When will in India government will launch a "RIGHT TO WAY" for ambulance. In India reaching of ambulance is just negligible please do something.Please make a law for giving pass to ambulance.

किसी भी घर परिवार समाज और देश की रीढ़ प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा होती है. हमारे देश की प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा का आमूल चूल परिवर्तन होना अति आवश्यक है. और जगह की तो बात मै नहीं जानता, उत्तर प्रदेश की प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा एक दम लचर है वेतन में मोटी रकम और सारी सुविधा के बाद भी लोग अपने बच्चो6 को सरकारी स्कूल मे6 पढ़्ने क्यों नहीं भेजते इसका सीधा सा जवाब है वहाँ पर पढ़ाई का न होना.प्राइमरी पाठशालूओ6 से सारी सुविधा सशुल्क और अध्यापक वेतन भी प्राइमरी शुल्क से व्यवस्था करने का नियम बन जाय तो निजी विध्यालय की तरह यह भी हो

Hello PM Sir, Now-a-days Its Budget session in the central as well as all state Govt. While we all celebrate this very important policy occasion, It hurts till no bound when Media reports that Nothing has happened in last announcements. So, my advice is -Can we have an Annual Reportout for both central and state govt where we can see how much progress we have made in last year. Because It is useless to announce more projects if we cant implement older ones. Implementation and execution is key.

Sir few concerns: 1> Why is there a recommendation for PDS modification, read in news papers the due to corruption the PDS is failing to reach the public, so why a change or modification of the scheme, why not change the people when there is enough info about corrupt or appoint another dept/set of people to take care of these. 2> Food security bill, we had put forward few clauses before signing the deals and wanted to retains most of the export of grains due to short fall now with PDS its inclin
