Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

what ever that has been done for sukanya samriddhi yojana in taxation should be done for NPS. Please remove tax on FD,CD, bonds NPS etc. You should also increase the the interest income from 10k per annum is taxable. For people without pension, we need to get money about 25k average per month to survive So you should allow upto 3 lakhs interest as tax free for retired personnel. Kindly do the needful.

Fake stamp papers is in big use of cheating the people in India as many people get old stamp or get stamped in old dates to make fake property papers with which they also manage to change records or even they arrange to record theft from government offices due to which common people are getting trapped with them and loosing. We should stop priniting stamps papers and should be only digital with unique ID nos.

All Police Officers who so have the power to challan say for traffic offences should be given a device should be connected to a central website and as soon the Police Officer starts his work the system should send photo of the person or the vehicle to the website and should also show physical payment of fine. It will ensure payment of full fine money and no corruption of which the Police is always blamed.

Recovering the taxes from the public and not passing it on to the exchequer is a big source of income for those who indulge in theft of taxes. Govt can stop this and increase its revenue simply by asking those who collect taxes from the public like VAT, SERVICE TAX,get connected to the Govt site and transfer the tax immediately to the Exchequer they should be asked to transact business only through computers and no hard copies and if found doing business without computers should be punished.
