In India, though AYURVEDA and SIDDHA are considered as subject for medical studies and higher studies and research, the Insurance Companies are reluctant to include AYURVEDIC treatment for reimbursement of medical expenses. The IRDA needs to be sensitized about this.

Few suggestions are: Get the statistics of specially abled persons age-wise. Identify the priority groups. Verify whether the funds are reaching them or bifurcated. Audit instructions and follow ups are to be expeditiously carried out in states.

My father is on a wheelchair. And there are hardly any "outside" entertainment options available for him. Hardly any access to parks or malls around us. In USA he had access to services for him everywhere. Our govt should ensure all the large scale developers build in such a way that people on wheelchair to have access to malls, shopping complexes and movie theaters etc.

Yes, it's changed. But, the Govt should have to go a long way yet. Though many Differently Abled Syudents(CWSN) are enrolled in general schools after the DPEP & SSA and the RTE-2009 implimented; but how long these CWSN will be in schools without any Special Education Teachers in schools. Whereas, there're a large no. of persons with D.Ed. or, B.Ed. in Special Education, RCI Registered, are not being propery employed by the Govt. So, if the govt truly thinks for the CWSN, they'd be employed soon

India tend to work the longest 9 or 10 hours a day , they also have the highest proportion of workers that are working excessively long hours of more than 48 hours a week, specially in IT (Software industry ). And the notice period of all the IT companies are not same. There should be some strict rule against Software Industry so that software engineer can also get time for his or her social life.

Sir..It is required to enhance the rebate for Disabled Persons under 80 U of Income Tax from 50000 to 100000 and 100000 to 150000 for Severe Disabled persons. These rebates have not been increasing for last many years (more than 10 years). The Specially abled persons has to expend more money in routine life due to his/her hard life style so please consider my humble suggestion in forthcoming Budget.
