1st step is acceptance of parents, then acceptance by family and friends, and then comes society. My daughter is Autistic, and I've had variety of flavor in people response. We badly need awareness campaigns, मॊहल्ल‌ सभा, Corporate Social Inputs and what not to get at least a RIGHT LOOK from society. Our society lies within - nowhere else. Urging government to nominate people/celebrities to start sensitizing the society for SPECIALs. We need to start somewhere somehow ..

I have been serving the interllectually disabled free of cost thru my NGO for many years! We need to be the voices and the brain for them. We do not have social security,in place in our country . Reforms: It has become a common practice for our so called leaders to critiicise the founders of the independent India. It should be borne in mind that our founding fathers have done a selfless service offering their soul and energy to see that the nation is built up on sound footings. They have taken decisions depending on the circumstances prevailing on the day. At best we should try to improve those things in a way to suit the present day circumstances, without criticising for everything.

Good Governance; There is no good governance when there is no governance. Nothing is moving so far in the Govt circle except hatred between communities. It would have been better to term this as a starting day for development or mutual harmony considering the significance and history of the day which is being observed through out the world as a day of reverence. Our politicians should think twice before launching any programme and should be well implanted except making a mockery of the same.

Wheel-chair bound persons also like to watch cinemas, music shows etc.Unfortunately in our country most of the cinema halls and auditoriums are a no-no for such fans. They are not wheel-chair friendly. At least the important theatres and auditoriums must make suitable accesses and facilities like separate places for such wheel chair bound people. Unless it is made mandatory such facilities will not be made available by the hall authorities. Their licences must depend on this compliance.
