The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Since I am born and have observed that when people are having sons they say that they don't have any tension regarding their marriage but in case of girls they are showing a lot of tension. Why? Instead of being proud on them. They are an asset for the country. We must feel proud onthem

Namaste sir, pehle ek sachayi se rubru karna chahti hun. Madhya Pradesh mein beti baho mein jiske yanha beti peda hoti usko maa baapji ko subidha milti hai. 2.Vaise bujurkh ke liye bhi aise yojana subidha milta hai.Lekin uske dusre pat nahi dekha jata jaise ki bujurkh ya beti ho vo sirf labh utha ke unko wahi saluk karte hain.Hume aisa solution rakhna chahiye jo koi faida uthane ke liye ye yojna na le. Meri soch hai ki baat humari soch badalani chahiye.Family ke liye counciling chahiye.

Most of the people who cannot afford to educate their child are labourers .What if the company they are working for take the initiative for the education of their child and pay a little less wage to them. This will reduce the burden of the workers and they will work with more enthusiasm. At the end of the day the want to give their childrens a better life . And companies can help them in achieving it and they can take it as an Corporate Social Responsibility .
