The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Think of our sisters. She's the best friend we can have. She understands us more than anyone. But,environment today is not good for girls.I agree that there are many laws but they are not used in the proportion that is required. In many areas, tests are done while in pregnancy to confirm whether the child is girl or boy. In some cases, girl is aborted and boy is accepted. This is main reason for declining CSR.It is we who can change this. Our view for a girl child to a certain limit should be changed.

Everyone knows the importance of a MOTHER. She was also once a girl child. The person we love most is our mother. Every person should remember this fact that if our mother was not there, there was not a single chance that we could exist. It is the woman that makes our country by giving birth to a child and that child someday, makes his country proud.

Honorable Sir For promoting safe school environment 1. Pass an act to give the most severe punishment to crimes on minor girls specially children below age 10 2. Mandatory CCTV cameras proportionate to the rooms in school 3. Mandatory police clearance for school staff 4. Creating a national database and making it mandatory for every person to enroll in the database if they want to teach. 5. Update the database of probable suspects and provide finger printing and facial recognition software

Honorable Prime Minister, instead of girls or child going to school if school comes to them it will be more effective. This school should not only teach a girl but also a family members together. People interesting in such teaching jobs can go to certain areas and teach few families. Audio visual effective education techniques can develope interest among the families for education and would be more easy to understand. Further certain materialistic gifts / prizes/benefits will also attract the families to get the education e.g If a family will be ready to get educated they will get certain prize plus if they convince 2 families they will get additional gifts after completion of the specific course. Once the interest for education is developed in the family the child can be easily driven to school.
