The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Dear PM sir The dowry system is huge problem for girl child every and each person knows that his girl will be unmarried without dowry along with every person knows that it is a crime but no one take any action either govt. nor police. I want to ask you a question, Do you not aware about this? If yes than why you not speak on it. A girl child born means a extra expense of Rs. 1000000 for a middle class. you govt. do not make hard regulations for dowry why police waiting for complaint.

Government can promote girl child by making every girl independent and self reliant. May be in government schools the girl child can be given free education. Skill centres like tailoring, computer skills, nursing skills, etc can be opened for girl child to learn skills to enable her to get a job or be self employed. Government can also employ the girl child from the skill centres whenever required for govt hospitals etc.

Respected Sir, I would like to submit regarding Girl Child and would like to give slogan in this favour that is - 'SHE' Means Security Health and Education. Presently the situation of girls in India is not so good as you are aware. Your Govt. is doing a good job to solve the problems. If your good self will look into the matter and give necessary instructions to your subordinates to look after the Security Health and Education to every Girl Child and make it necessary.
