What is the limit of MSME subsidy?
Maximum subsidy would be 15% of the project cost (20% for NER and Hill States). The balance amount of the total project cost is provided by Banks as term loan. The maximum cost of the project under manufacturing sector for up-gradation is Rs. 1.00 crore.

What is the transaction limit for MSME?
The MSME turnover limit & MSME investment limit was revised in line with the current financial situation. As per this new revision, the definition of the MICRO manufacturing & services units was revised to Rs. 1 crore investment & Rs. 5 crores turnover.

What is the new rule for payment to MSME?
According to Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act, introduced through Finance Act 2023, if a larger company does not pay an MSME on time within 45 days in case of written agreements , it cannot deduct that expense from its taxable income, leading to potentially higher taxes

What are the new guidelines for MSME 2024?
Starting from April 1, 2024, new tax laws in India require all types of businesses, like companies, sole proprietorships, partnerships or LLPs, to pay their suppliers registered as MSMEs within 15 days, or up to 45 days if they have an agreement.

Can we refuse to accept a legal notice?
Not replying to a legal notice enables the sender to invoke legal action against his claims. Even though the factum of non-reply to notice cannot be by itself be construed as an admission of liability averred in the notice and cannot be used to conclusively reach to a conclusion however it can be a supporting factor.
