The year 2015-16 saw a 17 percent expansion in the all-out web traffic in India that prompted an increment of Rs 7 lakh crore in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), of which at any rate Rs 1.4 lakh crore originated from web-based application benefits, another first-of-its-kind investigation uncovered on Friday. GDP growth is instrumentally important as well. It is closely correlated with the availability of jobs and income, which are in themselves vital to people’s standard of living and underpin their ability to achieve the kind of life they value (Sen 1999).
However, GDP is not a natural object, although it is now everyday shorthand for economic performance. It cannot be measured in any precise way, unlike phenomena in the physical world.

No matter what, cities gdp will grow but is it going to be on a sustainable way or not is needs our attention. Space: Its the most scarce resource in urban areas, especially public ones where rampant encroachment n missmanage needs to be curbed effectively. Green buildings: New techs where buildings could have less hot thereby avoiding ACs, also mandating every building to have a required parking lot. Efficient Public Transportation System. Last but not least, the Green Cover with Trees.
