The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in India was worth 2597.49 billion US dollars in 2017. The GDP value of India represents 4.19 percent of the world economy. GDP in India averaged 545.81 USD Billion from 1960 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 2597.49 USD Billion in 2017 and a record low of 36.54 USD Billion in 1960.

Indore is India's cleanest city, according to the Swachh Survekshan 2017 (Swachh Bharat survey 2017), which was conducted in 434 cities and towns of the country.

The results for Swachh Survekshan 2018 have been announced and Indore in Madhya Pradesh has retained its title of being India's cleanest city. The results were announced by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs.

According to a Swachhta (cleanliness) survey conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) on the condition of sanitation in rural areas of 26 states the Sikkim is the most cleanest state of India. Sikkim, the small north eastern hill state, is the cleanest in India, with Kerala coming in a close second.

Maharashtra is one of the Richest states in India with GDP of 27.96 lakh crore. Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra. In 2017 it had a GDP of about $400 billion and now it is raised to $410 billion. The per capita Income of Maharashtra is about $2600.
