India International Science Festival (IISF) 2020 is the largest science festival on virtual environment. This this mega science festival is going to be organized during 22-25 December 2020 on Virtual Platform (https://www.scienceindiafest.org/). Nodal organization of IISF 2020 is Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and coordinating Institute is CSIR-National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (CSIR-NISTADS). CSIR, DST, MoES, DBT, ICMR are organizing this programme in association with VijnanaBharati (VIBHA). Theme of IISF 2020 is ‘Science for Self-Reliant India and Global Welfare’. Vision of this IISF is the Promotion of AtmaNirbhar Bharat and Global Welfare through Science, Technology and Innovation.

The key objectives of IISF is
- To promote and build scientific temper among the masses and the young children
- To catalyze and trigger relationship between Science and Society leading to the development of new frontiers of growth both scientifically and economically
- To strengthen nation and to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth in the coming future
- To provide a platform for recognizing contribution of science and technology in global development

School Students, Researchers, Teachers, National and International Scientists, Technocrats, Industrialists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Craftsmen, Artisans, Farmers, Agri-sectors and Healthcare sectors, Exhibitors, Diplomats, Policy Makers.

Delhi, the third in Chennai, the fourth in Lucknow, and the fifth IISF was held in Kolkata. ALL these IISFs had generated immense response from people within India and from abroad. IISF is an annual event organised jointly by science & technology-related Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and Vijnana Bharati (Vibha). He said that besides promoting love and passion for science among young people and students by bringing science outside the labs, IISF 2020 must also reflect on the role of Indian Scientists and  S& T innovations for not just Atmanirbhar Bharat but global welfare also.“ It is time to make the world see the role of Indian Scientists to addressing global challenges and people’s welfare”, he said. The 6th edition of India International Science Festival (IISF) 2020 will be held from 22ndto 25th December, 2020. The Union Minister for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan announced this at a review meeting in New Delhi today. Education is the best tool to survive in today's world. Along with this changing world we should also change ourselves with positive attitude of using technology in the fields of education while learning or while teaching. Today every path of development is connected to Science and technology whether directly or indirectly... So I request the Government to overcome the issue and bring a new platform of learning everytime as the changes occur. Thank you government for providing online platform.

सबसे पहले धन्यवाद की विश्व पटल दिया आप ने अपने अपने विचार रखने के लिए विज्ञान आदि काल से मानव जीवन से जुड़ा रहा पर विज्ञान को क्यों कमजोर समझा जाता है इस का कोई तर्क नही क्योंकि दिमाग और मन की गति को मापना बहुत कठीन है पर दिन प्रतिदिन विज्ञान को लेकर मानव सो ह बदल रही है मोबाईल कंप्यूटर दुनियाभर के गैजट्ट जो लोगो का जीवन आसान बना रहे है और सोच बदल रहे है
