Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

theres always problem of drainage in colonies mainly in newly developing colonies. With this problem theres also one problem which stays with it and that is underground installation of electricity wires. I have one common idea for all these problems. and i think it worth a lot. contact me

3. A single portal to be introduced to help the citizens in taking services from government officials. Procuring new electric connection, new gas connection, new water connection, new sewerage connection and many others services including complaint related to the maintenance & law & order as well.

Every city can become smarter. Smart cities start with smart systems, working for the benefit of both residents and the environment. Electric grids, gas distribution systems, water distribution systems, public and private transportation systems , commercial buildings, hospitals, homes these form the backbone of the city’s efficiency, livability, and sustainability.

JMC must keep proper roads and remain very stick on encroachments. Once any material is seized from encrochment areas it should not be released againt nominal fine as what is happening that same place same stalls are getting placed again which JMC lift.

Laying of OFC, CCTV CAMERAS, online monitoring of all services like road,drain,sewer cleaning,garbage collection,garbage disposal,STP,Water supply,power supply, animals,traffic control,attendance of Govt . officials,E-services,24 hrs.power/water through prepaid cards only,withdrawal of all subsidies,reservation based on cast,religion,economic condition,Narega like schemes, providing free and compulsory education to all ,RWH in all localities,social security to all,E -filling of Police FIR etc

I suggest that the railway coaches should have some tanks attached in train for waste water like bathrooms use etc. Station Traces are not clean properly. And the vendors outside of station like selling pan masala should be banned. And fines for not following rule. And state buses and local buses should be cleaned properly. And license should be cancelled .if the organisation is not obeying it

Take water, sewage, mobility or air pollution. The current model of resource management, developed in rich Western cities , is costly The first principle in this is to accept that we have to renew what already exists. Take water, for example. Our cities have been built to optimise on the available resources. They were smart in building lakes and ponds to harvest every drop of rain. so there should be water harvesting systems.

we feel proud to hear that jaipur will be a metro city. i think that role of architecture & planning . to make a city smart is most important . because it teach people that how to live.. when see in these days that the most important problen in front of us is planning of cities.. due to that reason we face the problem of dirty city ,traffic,short width roads... so i think that it should be proper in our jaipur city...there are no "nagar niyojak" architect in our govt that we required
