Municipal Corporation, Jhansi has used a multifaceted approach for citizen engagements for smart city Round-2 proposal exercise and utilized both online and offline modes extensively i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Smart City Jhansi Website, Mygov.in, Consultation Camps, etc.
A series of activities were executed including vision survey forms distribution, consultation camps with schools, colleges, industries, civilians, councilors, media, etc. The suggestions received were compiled and analysed to formulate a cohesive vision for the city. Every nook and corner of the city was accessed and every stakeholder from the full spectrum set of demographics including socio-economics, education qualification, Job profile, location and age group were targeted and accessed.
On the basis of lakhs (both offline and online) of suggestions received from citizens of Jhansi, the Draft Smart City Round-2 Proposal is prepared for the City which encompasses different aspirations and dreams to be realized for Jhansi.
The Municipal Corporation of Jhansi, keeping in mind the Smarty Cities Mission directives and the feedback of the citizens of Jhansi, has come up with a Draft Smart City Round-2 Proposal. The Draft Smart City Proposal discusses on identifying areas for both Area based Development (ABD) and pan-city solution for making Jhansi a Smart City.For your reference a brief snapshot of the proposal, capturing all details of the Smart City Proposal can be accessed through the link given below.
