Following are the important strategies for biodiversity conservation: All the varieties of food, timber plants, livestock, microbes and agricultural animals should be conserved. All the economically important organisms should be identified and conserved

2. - Ensuring waste water not mixing with the salt/fresh water of that wetland. Have observed wider range of wetland birds (both resident and migratory) choose unpolluted water bodies than with those which had been mixed with waste. 3. City based wetlands with waste mix needs to be periodically de-silted. This enables the waste deposited to be removed from the waterbody. De-silting should have many undulations which enables water storage across the seasons as against making it into a flatland.

Namaskar, Being an avid nature lover and have observed wetlands for surveying birds over last few years, I would like to suggest a few that might help you, based on my observation: - Planting trees with larger root surface area around the wetland banks . This has arrested water leaks through soil bunds and subsequent drying up of the water body. Care to be taken to plant endemic species of that region.

वेटलैंड इको सिस्टम की सबसे बड़ी समस्या पालीथीन तथा जहरीले कचरे हैं। सब लोगों को मिल कर प्रयास कराना है । सिर्फ सरकार नहीं लड सकती इस समस्या से। कीटनाशक, उर्वरक आदि का विवेक पूर्ण उपयोग करने से। यह क्षेत्र वरदान हो जायेगा । वृक्षारोपण तथा जंगल संवर्धन आवश्यक है ।
