For the older people whose documents required for passport are prepared long time back, there are spelling mistakes galore and the spellings in one document does not match with the second document, but the pronunciation of both the words remain same. In such cases, the people should not be returned back, but the passport be granted and anyways the supporting documents are maintained with the passport office in a file against the passport.

Sir in passport offices, even if there are some variations in the names between the documents, the people are sent back. This is very strenous for old and disabled people. If there is a Suffix like Begum or Mr. used in say identity document and not in address proof, people are sent back, which is very frustrating. Govt. should look into building a glossary of prefixes and suffixes which should be considered as the same name and the passport be granted.

I m pursuing my graduation in faculty of art, banaras hindu university, varanasi. There are some hearing impared student, speech and visual also. I hv experinced they are jst attending d class for attendence. They sit with us, there is no any specialized teacher for them, maybe on paper, bt they are not getting their rights of education. I hope, this is d case of most of our university, i reqest HRD ministery to see it according to their rights. And my friend if u r feeling same come ahead.

Dear sir, recently my colleague and I attended a meeting of specially abled children and their parents at Sevagram District Wardha MS and shared with them the views of PM on the special children. Their concern was about the different names that these children get from the community. Their only request to the PM was that he should make a law (in tune of SC/ST atrocities act) forbidding calling names to the specially abled children. Thanks. Rahul

I am physically disabled. My percentage of disability is more than 50%. At regular intervals, you increase the non-taxable limit in terms of Income-tax. However, the exemption u/s 80U does not increase at regular intervals. I hate corruption like any other deplorable thing. I am not a legal pundit nor an experienced person in the field, but I feel that time has come to do something special to get rid of political leaders who are the factories of corruption at the top. People have become restless

I recently visited India and saw new awareness. I travelled by train and had to spend some time on platform waiting for a delayed train. I started cleaning platform, picking up rubbish which I could. Idea was to inspire others. It worked! Many people walked up to me and pledged to do the same. Benefits are two fold. People will throw less rubbish indiscimately and some of us would clean. There cannot be bin every few feet. Encourage to carry their waste in pockets/ bags where possible. It works!

Specially-abled are the ones who really need reservations.I am not saying that SCs/STs or OBCs do not need reservation but while comparing the two the first need more.So the Govt. should increase the no. of seats in institutions,and govt. jobs for specially abled citizens of india.

सर नमस्कार.... आपने अपने आकाशवाणी के पहले प्रोग्राम"मन की बात" में मेरे विकलांग प्रशन का जिक्र किया। आपने मेरे प्रशन को इतनी गम्भीरता से लिया। मेरे अंदर भी विकलांगो के लिए कुछ करने का भाव जाग्रत हुआ। क्योंकि में एक विकलांग होने के नाते विकलांगो का दुःख-दर्द अच्छी तरह समझ सकता हु। मैंने अपने गाव गेसुपुर में मेरठ से 2 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर है। मैंने विकलांगो के लिए एक ट्रस्ट बनाया है। .आप से विनती है अगर आप नवम्बर-दिसम्बर में समय निकालकर अपने हाथो से ट्रस्ट की शुरआत कराने का कष्ट करे। धन्यवाद।
