In my opinion employment opportunities for specially-abled should be given an equal importance. We don't know, they might change every thing or they can do new things like Stephen hawking ... Hidden talent in them should be encouraged..

Honourable Modi ji.. I am a physiotherapist working with specially abled kids in a private organisation. I heard your concern about these people in your 1st "man ki baat", sir I would like to suggest that if we can have disabled friendly area in our municipal gardens for these kids it will be a greater help for their all round development as u always say "khel se hi bachpan khilta hai".. Its my humble request sir pls start this initiative as soon as possible

5.during valuation their spelling mistakes, spacing and handwriting shouldn't be taken into consideration 6. 60% of t questions should be skill based one or two mark questions rather than essays 7.Instead of drawing diagrams they can be asked to name t parts in t diagrams... These suggestions may help children to get their basic education..

The majority of Persons with Disabilities are still in Lurch despite the fact that:- The United Nations General Assembly adopted its Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the 13th day of December, 2006; The aforesaid Convention lays down the certain principles for empowerment of persons with disabilities.India is a signatory to the said Convention, and India ratified the said Convention on the 1st day of October, 2007.

So even if t child has talents it can't be exposed and they r denied their basic right of independence ... My few suggestions are1.in distance education provisions should be made to increase the number of physically disabled from birth. 2. Use of scribes should be allowed 3. The exam time should be increased or they should be allowed to present the paper in 2 or more sessions or days 4.children should be given exception from any one subject

2.while trying to make them study through distance education, its very difficult as there r only a few options for them especially for physically disabled like cp quadriplegia where they can't able to write fast and adjust to time restrictions 3. When using scribes its difficult to orally participate in exams such as maths.. Even when they use calculators the time taken will be more than normals..3. To face many of these practical issues many parents stop the children basic education..
