Under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) has created, a mobile and web music application ‘SANGAM’, as the name of the application suggests, has been conceived as an aural confluence of several streams of devotion and divinity, as also a confluence of the various art forms that are part of our musical traditions. The application has been envisioned as a one-stop virtual destination for the connoisseurs of music of classical, folk, devotional and popular styles alike.

‘SANGAM’ is a first of its kind initiative taken by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the following are its major features:

1. Sangam features over 2500 devotional tracks in 24 Indian languages on themes such as Mantras, Lord Vishnu (and his various Avatars like Ram and Krishna, etc.), Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Durga and Devis (such as Lakshmi, Saraswati) etc.

2. The content includes songs and music from the National Audio-Visual Cultural Archives, by Bharat Ratna(s) PanditBhimsen Joshi, Ustad Bismillah Khan and Dr. M.S. Subbulakshmi; and incorporates recitation and recitals from classical texts like The Vedas, Adi Shankaracharya’s Moha Mudgara, poet Jayadeva’s Gita Govinda, Goswami Tulsi Das’s Ram Charit Manas, Dohas of Sant Kabir, Bhajans of Meera Bai, Kritis of Thyagaraja and Abhangs of Sant Tukaram, to name only a few.

3. Furthermore, the rich content includes Thumris, Dadras, Bhajans, Abhangs, Kritis and Padams and other genres across various traditions of Hindustani & Carnatic Classical Music and folk music.

4. Sangam App will be updated soon with several Sufi, Gurbani and other devotional tracks from all faiths.

Sangam App is available now on Android and iOS platforms, and also as a web application.

Our country has huge variety of folk song. The flavour of different folk song of different area are different. Lot of work has done on this folk song. Different folk songs are created from different cultural back ground. So nSANGAM app. is a good initiative.

हम अपने देश के संविधान पर विश्वास करते हैं और वही संविधान हमे बराबरी का अधिकार भी देता है फिर क्यू देश के किसी और राज्य से कोई भी व्यक्ती जम्मू और कश्मीर में जाके नहीं रह सकता अगर ऐसा अधिकार सबको मिलेगा तो मेरा मानना है वहाँ जो आतंकवादी गतिविधियां होती हैं वो जल्दी से सरकार तक पहुंचेंगी। और लोगों को वहाँ की संस्कृति जो और अच्छे से जानने का मौका मिलेगा

Sir , मेेरा नाम Rajesh Yadav हें ,मे M.P.के Agar Malwa District का रहने वाला हुं मेरा मत यह हे कि योजनाए बहुत चल रहीं हे लेकिन क्या यह योजना निचे तक पहुंच रहि हे या नहि ,इसका लाभ क्या उन्ही लोगो को मिल रहा हे जिनको मिलना चाहिए एसी सर्वोपरि संस्था होनि चाहीए For ex. आपने आयुष्मान योजना लांच कि हे वो सभि govt. Hospital मे available हे लेकिन वहां कि हालत यह हे की doctor का कोई time नही हें वह अपने निजी clinic पर व्यस्त हें कई योजनाओ कि हालत same हे ।

Culture means not to evaluate through rich or poor. Culture should not be also compared to latest technology, if somebody is using new technology he is from high culture or rich background and if somebody not he belong s to poor culture. So it is only to identify the right person either poor or rich having right or giving respect to others where we can identify them whether they belongs to which culture.

This historical state of India attracts tourists and vacationers with its rich culture, tradition, heritage, and monuments. It has also some sanctuaries & national parks. More than 70% of Rajasthan is vegetarian, which makes it the most vegetarian state of India..
