The digital space has witnessed major transformations in the last couple of years and as per industry experts would continue to evolve itself. The latest entrant to the digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as interplay for software, telecom and electronic hardware industry and promises to offer tremendous opportunities for many industries.

With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number of connected sensors soon will reach trillions, working with billions of intelligent systems involving in-numerous applications will drive new consumer and business behaviour. The demand for increasingly intelligent industry solutions based on IoT will drive trillions of dollars in opportunity for IT industry and even more for the companies that take advantage of the IoT.

One of the top most initiatives in the form of Digital India Program of the Government which aims at ‘transforming India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’, is expected to provide the required impetus for development of the IoT industry ecosystem in the country.

Department of Electronics and Information Technology,(DeiTY) has come out with a draft IOT Policy document which focuses on following objectives:

i. To create an IoT industry in India of USD 15 billion by 2020. It has been assumed that India would have a share of 5-6% of global IoT industry.

ii. To undertake capacity development (Human & Technology) for IoT specific skill-sets for domestic and international markets.

iii. To undertake Research & development for all the assisting technologies.

iv. To develop IoT products specific to Indian needs in all possible domains.

The Policy framework of the IoT Policy has been proposed to be implemented via a multi-pillar approach. The approach comprises of five vertical pillars (Demonstration Centres, Capacity Building & Incubation, R&D and Innovation, Incentives and Engagements, Human Resource Development) and 2 horizontal supports (Standards & Governance structure).

Corruption is rampant in every field of life after NDA govt took over the rein from UPA. Today at 11.30 at Aaj Tak in "Operation Tickets" , it has shown by sting operation that tickets are not available from the window (as it opened up) where as the confirmed tickets are available in their name. The ticket from Delhi to Patna is Rs 490 but agent charged Rs 2200. It is extremely painful. No difference between UPA and NDA in corruption. It must be stopped so that we feel difference&pride, please

I am about to bring up a difficult issue, more because of its sensitivity, than its complexity. Having studied in government colleges, I have noticed that the caste reservation system we have is not benefiting the deserved ones. There are lots of rich people who take advantage of this, and there are students who are from the "so called" upper class who had to stop their studies because of a financial crunch. Would like to know what this government has in mind for give equal opportunities to all.

Respected sir, My name is Pavan Sahu, Currently i live in Bangalore city, I observe here, there is no Proper place to take off a dust, So i think first we have to decide a place where we have to take off the daily dust, it must be dustbins available there places. So people would throw trash in it, then we go somewhere you will clean India's dream come true.

Dear Saheb, Pls stop Beef meat export . This is causing India lots of loss of virual water and virtual grains. Each cow use almost 12,50,000(12.5lacs) litres of fresh water and 1 lac Kilo of grain in life. We are exporting our natural resouces . Just imagine when we exporting 20,00,000 tons of Beef , How much fresh water and grain we are losing. Living animal give much more benifical then exporting beef. Brazil have stopped beef export so the same reason . We also should do that. Thanks you.
