Sir Mr.Obama has spoken for the net neutrality concept in his country. We wish even you could speak for it in our country. Cizitens of India want Freedom in the usage of internet. We do not want gatekeepers at each pit. We do not want to pay tolls every now and then when we long on to a particular site or applications like whatsapp,Skype. We already pay for a data plan. Why should we pay again to use the OTTs?. Your dream of digital India wont be successful if this law is enforced.

Firstly, there is no regulatory imbalance in regards to Internet-based services and apps. It is the telecom operators who own spectrum, which is a public resource, and hence need to be licensed. Internet services don’t need licenses. Telecom operators provided the pipe or network on top of which Internet services exist. So, there’s a clear distinction between the two.

Gopal Vittal, CEO, Airtel “There is still no evidence that suggests that there is cannibalization,” he said when asked about whether data is cannibalizing Airtel’s voice business. On internet messaging cannibalizing SMS revenues, he said: “At this point in time is very, very tiny. And so it is not really material as we look at it.” [http://www.medianama.com/2015/02/223-no-evidence-of-voip-cannibalization-of-voice-airtel-india-ceo-gopal-vittal/]

OTT players increase the data usage so anyways telcos are earning. internet without such monetry restrictions is needed. greedy motives of telcos. we want to compete with foreign countries where 100mbps is freely available where as in india even a 1mbps connection has fair user policy cap. internet has become an essential part of modern indians' lives.now telcos want to earn from that too. cheap trick..

Plz do not allow telcos to control the internet and force us to use websites or apps that pay bribe to telcos. This would be an open promotion of corruption. Also this would backfire on the govt. We should not forget that it was freedom of internet that allowed BJP to reach Masses.

Land records are Physically maintained in opaque manner by Patwaris, the main cause of corruption.Even during calamity these patwaris give crop damage report based on the bribe amount even without visiting the village. If land records are digitized in a transparent manner and modern technology like GPS and satellite imaging is used to assess the damage, right amount of compensation will reach the deserving farmer and will also help Govt in training them for improving their productivity.
