The Government can identify a few really successful/ smart farmers based on their productivity and other success data, particularly in small farm holdings. Further after a due inputs on communication, they can be encouraged/ facilitated to visit the nearby areas for hands-on demonstration of their farming skills to multiply the smart farming.

we need to use all natural substances to increase farm productivity. There are many traditional farming techniques and water conservation methods scattered all around our country. Need a platform (website) where all these traditaional knowledge and new natural discoveries can be shared. These websites should be made such that if anyone posts any good thing, it is cross verified and posted for whole contry to take benefit.

we need to tell the farmers that excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides will only give them short term benefits and usage of recyclable farm waste material, biological waste material, manures will give them long term benefits. usage of fertilizers will decrease the soil quality after a certain time period. we need to provide the farmers with high yield variety seeds, etc. Though some farmers are facilitated with the same, we need to make this available to ALL.

In order to make agriculture, farming successful in INDIA, we need to adopt the integrated farming techniques, follow the 3 major factors for high and quality crop yield (i.e. crop variety improvement, crop production improvement, crop protection management.), we need to irrigate the fields and not depend only on rain. We need to train the farmers of better techniques and not only teach them but make them understand and implement the new integrated techniques( like summer ploughing, etc).

Further increase in agricultural production and farmers income can be achieved by use of engineering and technology in farming.Agricultural engineering is a discipline designed for sustainable development, farm mechanization, post harvest storage and processing, soil & water conservation and precision irrigation.Water conservation and PMKSY(Har khet ko pani and more crop per drop) can be efficiently implemented by involving/ creating a full fledged cadre of agricultural engineering in states.

opting and propagating smart farming is a biggest contribution from individual.
Most of the farmers are uneducated so farmer interface to system should be made os symbols and coloured pictures instead of alphabets and languages.
for implementing use already laid down structure for farming.
1) first start with season weather report to farmers and what to sow in a particular area or region. so that it will be profitable to every farmer. Then I think farmers slowly open to this smart farming

Sir there is a lot of problem in Bhatinda area of punjab due to the use of high quantity of pesticides etc in agriculture . These high content of chemicals in farming are causing cancer in the region. The solution lies in use of bio farming but due to the time required for changing from normal farming methods involving these chemicals to the bio farming method , farmers are not taking up biofarming . Govt should step in to sort out this problem and save lives by supporting them financially.
