It is good this Govt solicits ideas from farmers. When it comes to implementation, lacks in a major way. I believed in govt promises of subsidies for smart farmers and put up a Israel technology poly-house. My poly-house was completed and all documents submitted by April 2015. Even after one year I have not received subsidy and incurring huge interest cost. Request this Govt to disburse subsidy, bear interest and be supportive of smart farmers like me. Then smart farming will become a reality.

The problems are- small landholding not contiguous, overuse/under use of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, lack of bargaining power among many others. For Smart farming-Land pooling and ensuring compensation(in case of loss),creating pooling cooperative for collection of produce and collective selling, use of organic fertilizers, ensuring optimum use of fertilizer/pesticide(to reduce cost),mechanized farming(only possible thru land pooling),selecn of suitable HYV crops based on climate, soil,& market

the main priblem facing farmers is they are not getting even their cost of production because the middlemen take away all the profits, the governemnt should set up farmer markets in the city where ffarmers can book stall space as per requirement at a nominal price & also allow the farmer to bring is produce directly to such markets without paying APMC etc & sell his goods at market rates, this way the farmers will make enough money to be able to prosper & have continued interest in agriculture.

I would like to implement technologies that i developed over 18 years to bring second green revolution in India, details of the technology are enclosed in attachment. The technology deals with total biomass increase with use of Biochemical Bioactives. This technology is completely different from that of Prof. Norman Borlog's first green revolution technology i.e., Biomass partitioning (using responsive dwarf varieties to chemical fertilizer application). I need your support for this.

If we look at the basics - “Smart farming is a function of Safe, sure and productive farming. Smart environment should lead to bring advance knowledge to the farmer on – when and what to sow, how to use of nutrition and water during the crop growth, How to protect crop from pests and plant dieses, when to harvest & successfully store crops and finally where to sale or the best market and best customer for selling the final produce. See details on Moisture Meter in attachment.
