Keeping in view the fast growing population of India, it is indeed the right time to work towards having yet another GREEN REVOLUTON and WHITE REVOLUTION. Conservation of good grains and milk should also be part of REVOLUTION. We are at the moment self sufficient in FOOD GRAINS, but lot of stock is rotten every year due to the scarcity of storage, Adulteration in Milk is becoming a big issue. It is chiefly due to insufficient Milk production. We must stop slaughtering of milk giving animals.

The NFSA 2013 is a very important step that has been taken. I would like to add my view 'as the NFSA has provisions for children and women, special provisions should be made for senior citizens of our country'.

I feel that migrant workers who need the subsidised food the most, do not possess Public Distribution System (PDS) Cards and hence are forced to buy food grains and kerosene at higher than market prices. If a mechanism is provided where they are allowed to use their quota of subsidy from any place in India, a lot will be done in improving food security.

I feel that we should provide proper transportation to all farmers in India to boost our food production and waste food should be used as manure and proper building should be there for storage without any rats their eating up the food grains

i have some point to share: 1. We should try to provide safe(quality) food to the people. 2. Only food technologist or people who are aware about food should be involved in such kind work.3. FCI or any other food related dept. should given preference to Foodies.4. Supply chain and warehousing facilities and cold chains and proper tracking are poor in India 5.FSSAI is playing vital role to maintain Food Quality 6. hopefully with time we will be able to provide safe healthy food to everyone.
