#NationalEducationPolicy. Exams should be the for testing the ability of students to synthesis new information from what they have learned. Not just writing up the informations in the texts.

Respected sir, education system must follow basic foundations to built sound ,creative and innovative youth . Exclude /minimise old passive fruitless part of curriculum whereas much more concentration should be given on short duration specialised job orientated courses for youth for this already existed polytechnic colleges/ ITI s should be utilised instead of promoting new skill development centres . This suggestion is based on my 33 years experience in the field of technical education.

#NationalEducationPolicy. teachers professional development programs should be introduced during the summer holidays and to be implemented to improve the quality of teaching by organising workshops, seminars once or twice a year. Enable them to make them help students to make best use of the online opencourseware platforms.

Backbone of any education system is its Teachers. And teachers should have that characterstic to develop personality of students, due to inabality of teachers ,they focus on Rote learning and kills the creativity.Personality development, free thinking, creativity should be the core while deciding the New Education policy. Mere numbers are not sufficient for improving the system. We need students with creative and free thinking, that's why India is backward in research.#NationalEducationPolicy

Please make compulsory that schools should start only by 10am and should close by 4pm. On a day only 4 subjects is taught reserve time for physical training (games/Yoga) and soft skills like story recital/writing at end of the day which will not stress students and provide relaxation. Give emphasis on memory and life skills and reduce the need to remember irrelevant historical dates, which are not useful in anyway in later life.
