-Also, the syllabus must be the same throughout the country but in regional languages. -Some space can be given to states to include their unique heritage and icons into the syllabus. -Education must become the tool for national integration. -Each child must be evaluated on the basis of his abilities rather than asking every child to get a distinction and to become a doctor or engineer. -Careers in Social sciences like Economics, geography, etc and in arts like music must be promoted.

Education is strength. We are a unique country with a unique history and heritage. Our education must focus on this heritage to instill a sense of national pride in our youth. --Proper representations i.e. our history through our eyes (not some foreign Indologist)must be included in social sciences and History subjects. -WRT Sciences and arts, our education must become more lively and practical-oriented. -Children should be allowed to excel in the field of their interests.

More practical oriented education is important. There should be one board of education all over india and and their state language must be added into their curriculam. More research works should be carried out to attain the degree. Humanity and National patriotism must be part of education.

1. Create interest in education as a means to explore and enjoy. Not as a means to make a living. This can be done by engaging media and DD. 2. Please let go of one-size-fits-all model and make it flexible to meet kids with different abilities. This can be done by introducing electives, and these electives can be split from existing subjects. 3. Girl education should be the top most priority while considering any point or policy.

The future teaching methodology needs to be more creative and be geared in developing tangible employable and cognitive skills that will make students ready for employment. Watch this short and entertaining talk on TED.com http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity. Please circulate this information around.
