For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This is in regards to the problem of food adulteration in our country. Today more than 70% milk prouce is adulterated which directly affeccts the health of our countrymen. This is more visible in metros. It is an urgent need to make stricter rules against such offenders (upto death penalty). Also, the government should set up testing labs in each post office where any citizen can walk in and get his food items tested for adulterants for a very nominal fee

as on date, we have about 7 lakh villages, whereas there are only 1.5 lakh post offices, which means that more than 4 lakhs villages are without post offices. now it is time, to make one man or two man or part time post offices, which may be on outsourcing basis or mobile basis or dak-mitra basis. but reach of postal services should be to 100% population. the only immediate financial feasible way is that citizens should be authorised for large number of postal services on commission basis.

Prime Minister Sir, Urgent need of feeling the vacancies in post offices as majority of post offices are running short of staff. Secondly there should be proper infrastructure such as for internet and mobile banking, also posts should have its own infrastructure for banking as well as INWARD REMITTANCE of Foreign Currency as of now MONEYGRAM and WESTERN UNION are providing services. Majority of post offices should be post offices run by female staff this will increase productivity.

Respected Prime Minister. I have seen the upgradation of postal network over last few years (Infrastructure, services etc.). I would like to thank government for those efforts, however I do believe that there are more things need to be done to improve productivity and service such as: 1) Create a customer oriented work staff 2) Include additional services such as fixed price shipping, issuance of e-stamps, and parcel pick-up service 3) Set benchmarks to be achieved and reward who meet them

Post office should be upgraded with banking facilities with online transaction support. It will boost the financial inclusion as post office is more popular and used by all class of people irrespective of rural or urban barrier. And another one facility that can be flourished using post office is insurance. Why post office is not allowed to make more insurance schemes? Specially vehicle insurance, it will make easier for people and profitable for post office.

At present courier agencies are giving Pick-up service. Post offices should also offer pick-up services. Pick-up Criteria should be defined, Charges also to be defined and quality of service in terms of time should improved. Pick-up on Demand should have rating based on the priority of the requestor.

Upgrade post office service to access through internet, like banking service. Many people want to avail service of post office but stay away on the reason that one has to go post office to get the service. Also ATM service of post office should be introduced.
