For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

From the Department of Telecommunication to rural post office install OFC, with support of BSNL and VSNL. After getting connectivity then start any service like Jan Dhan Yojana, Post Banking, insurance, (Special instructions use latest computer Technology and skilled staff , else don't make any expenses on the post Keep as it is!!!) With help of Air India we can serve as DHL as competitor. Please give chance I will make Blue print for Indian Post

Dear Sir, In UP, O Level computer cerifiacte is going compulsory in all UPPSC post, but in my view an finding. a clerk or officer is nothing to do with the programme content, for Accountant post its Already compulsory here. I am Attaching the course program with this. as we all know UP is having population mostly in villeage, and fee of this programm can not be reasonable as its 20,000 round off. this much we cant bear, so please sir , i recommend that working knowledge and test can be us

(a) Complete address to be printed on receipts of booked consignments. (b)Receiver's details not available in tracking consignments. Scanned copy of Proof Of Delivery, linked to a consignment, to be made available over website. (c) Delivery post offices should create a database of all households served by them, for the purpose of any communication w.r.t delivery of consignments. (d) Database can also be used to generate alert services for addressee at the time of booking of consignments itself.

1- मनरेगा को पोस्ट ऑफिस से जोड़ा जाए । 2- ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों मे समस्त योजनाओं /पेन्सन का भुगतान पो आ से हो । 3- प्रधानमंत्री जन धन योजना के खाते पो आ मे भी खोले जाए । 4- साधारण रेल टिकट मिलना शुरू हो । 5- फसल बीमा /पशु बीमा डाक घरों से चलाया जाए । 6- मतदाता पहचान पत्र /आधार कार्ड बनवाने मे डाकघर को सम्मिलित किया जाए ।

Few Suggestions for World largest postal network-IPS: 1.Open IPS Franchisee create jobs (PPP) & share network with private players. 2-For all commercial deliveries include dedicated Dept.3-Include online\Mobile App for Booking\Delivery schedule which improves in timely Delivery\Pickup service.4-Like Speed post include more speedy services (FEDEX).5-Provide Banking services (Like Banks) & make accountable for services.6-Upgrade vehicle from Bi-Cycle to MoBike with accountability for delivery.
