Thank you for taking this important step to make assistive technology more inclusive and useful. My name is Deo kumar and i am from Giridih, Jharkhand. While preparing the standards, it is important to focus on practical ground realities. The devices should be easily available and affordable so that both rural and urban users can benefit. Common and simple design guidelines should be created to make products user-friendly, safe, and compatible with other systems. Along with this, training and awareness programs for users and service providers will help in proper use of the technology. Maintenance and repair support should be simple and accessible to ensure long-term use. Most importantly, persons with disabilities should be actively involved in planning, testing, and giving feedback so their real needs are addressed. These steps will make the assistive technology sector more accessible, effective, and beneficial for everyone.
