The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public on the draft accessibility standards for the Services Sector. These draft standards, which identify non-negotiable rules, have been prepared to strengthen the creation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and relevant rules.

All interested individuals are requested to carefully examine the proposed standards and submit their feedback, comments, and suggestions on the MyGov platform, ensuring that personal details are entered accurately during registration.

Public awareness programmes may be organized for sensitizing the general public about the security needs of physically challenged and their role in preventing any harassment to such persons, providing immediate help to any such victim and promptly reporting any incident

The provisions for escalators require that at least two flat steps be provided at the entrance and exit of every escalator and that steps on escalators be demarcated by yellow lines 2 inches wide maximum along the back and sides of step

श्रीमान आप बहुत योग्य और शांति प्रिय व्यक्ति है । मेरा सुझाव यह है कि सरकार को गांधी वादी विचार चलना चाहिए और ग्रामीण उद्योगों जिसमें घर की सभी चीजों का उत्पादन होता हो को बढ़ावा दे । आज हमारे देश में ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था की स्थिति शहरों की तुलना में थोड़ी कमजोर दिखाई देती ज्यादा तार कच्चे माल का उत्पादन भी गांव में ही होता है अतः वहां उत्पादन सस्ते में हो सकता है उसकी लागत में कमी होगी और हम अपने उत्पादन को निर्यात कर सकेंगे और हमारी मुद्रा मजबूत होगी । धन्यवाद मान्यवर
