India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

Why not a recycle regulation centre. Each shops should be in treaty with this centre. All the products should be assigned an expiry date. The buyers should be linked to the products at the time of billing. If people want to share the bought goods then they should also register that in necessary online platform of government, so that the product is now linked to the new owner. At the time of expiry or before(if damaged) the product has to be send back to recycling centre(maybe the centre should arrange transport like Amazon, Flipkart etc). If not send, the buyer will be fined(details of how much amount will be discussed later). The buyer cannot buy from shops in treaty with centre until the fine is payed. (One of my suggestion for fine is that it should be applied equally to rich and poor. When coming to responsibility as a Citizen equality is to be followed. So fine should be a percentage of individual annual income). Later on recycled products can be made.

Honorable Prime Minister of India, We should reduce the import and production of plam oil. And increase the production of soybeans, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil etc which are good for health at the same time it will help in reducing the oil imports . The waste from these plants can be used in a productive ways for eg. produce biodiseal.

Cont'd--- To study samples of shore based living marine spiecs like mussels on rocks, crabs on rocks, clams,Oysters, prawns, sand crabs on the beach. These could give a leed to pollution in sea for heavy metals, arsenic, mercury, lead etc all carcogenic substances. The idea is when contaminated water comes to shore or rocks. And these spiecs have to survive in this atmosphere & becomes a part of them. Hope a study could be helpful in this field incidentally the symbol of cancer is a crab. A silent killer by the time you realize it's generally late. This is only my view with limited knowledge on medical field or marine life.

Much has been achieved during last plan periods due to hard work of farmers and constant efforts of the department of Horticulture through implementation of various centrally and state sponsored schemes. Arrival of huge quantities of Orange, Ginger, Pine-apple, Large cardamom etc in local markets and markets of Assam during seasons is a testimony of this fact.
