India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

1. Reduce
2. Reuse
3. Recycle

Dear all, We will have to generate clean and green energy through eco- friendly process like Solar energy according to our consumption. We can see most of the richest countries or industrialists are those who are related with energy sector. Imagine if we all able to generate and conserve energy then keeping populous nation point of view we can be largest energy exporter. Nothing is impossible. This could be like another savings or fixed deposit account. This is just a call from my side. Thanks and Regards.

Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, it’s high time the judicial reforms have been awaited for a long time. The current state of affair, though debatable, is not healthy for our democracy, and it must be brought under scrutiny and accountability as well. This article shared is an example as rising no of cases are pending for years and the common man continue to go behind courts for years and years seeking justice. At 75 years celebration, can you make a difference Sir? Jai Hind🇮🇳

Bulk Purchases: Avoid products that are packaged for single use (i.e., drinks, school lunches, candy, cat and dog food, salad mixings, etc.). Instead, buy in bulk and transfer the products to your own reusable containers. Many health food stores have bulk bins where they sell everything from grains to cereal to cleaning products. Here's a great international bulk item store locator. Additional ideas for "precycling". Buy Only What You Need: Buy only as much as you know you'll use for items such as food, cleaning supplies, and paint.
