India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

Crop rotation is the most popular SAPS in India, covering around 30 million hectares (Mha) of land and approximately 15 million farmers. Agroforestry, mainly popular among large cultivators, and rainwater harvesting have relatively high coverage - 25 Mha and 20-27 Mha, respectively. Organic farming currently covers only 2.8 Mha — or two per cent of India’s net sown area of 140 Mha. Natural farming is the fastest growing sustainable agricultural practice in India and has been adopted by around 800,000 farmers. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) has achieved a coverage area of 5 Mha after decades of sustained promotion.

he Green life Capture it... Utilize it.... Solar energy, solar power derived from the sun through the use of solar panels, is just one of the newest initiatives the "Going Green" movement has presented to us, in an effort to build and maintain renewable and sustainable power sources. It is becoming cheaper to make electricity from solar energy and in many situations it is now competitive with energy from coal or oil. Solar cells can be used to generate electricity from sunlight.

he state needs to support sustainable solutions.A Belkin dealer,comp access electricals is an ego call.The products are of mass consumer demand in nature with plastic and power quality certified adhering to international standards.Despite the best being offered in the market at reasonable price, political intent is a hindrance denying acceptance.The govt must step in to authorise, identify and approve every player in plastic and power business.

To live in peace with environment is essential for sustainable existence and hence we should consider ourselves as part of this environment and instill necessary changes in our daily life which are designed in such a way so as to produce minimum negative impact on environmental. For example - Rather than spending fuel and using vehicle for short distance, we can use bicycle or walk which would be environmental friendly as well as reduce cost too. Such small steps from every individual will go a long way in environmental protection. Thanks 👍

Respected Prime Minister Shri Modi Ji, Namaskar. I request you to kindly encourage potters and weavers and help them to get raw materials easily and at reasonable price. These days Pot makers are facing hardship and they find difficult to sell their products. Like Khadhi Gramodhyog Bhavan a separate shops should be opened across the country where the pot makers can sell their products. This will help them a lot. Likewise weavers needs help. They need quality raw materials easily. Hand weavers should be encouraged more as they have stiff competition with the weavers using automatic weaving machines. Khadi products should be available. Encourage local toy manufacturers and help them to sell their products without any additional tax. If they are a prompt tax payers they should be get the needed loans from the Bank quickly. These eco friendly product manufacturers should be given high priority in exporting their products easily without any complicated procedures and rules. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Respected Sir, I support the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement and would like to suggest that the movement may include not only hoisting the tricolour or displaying it at our homes but may also include some basic steps the citizens may together start from their homes.
