India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

R4-- Renewable energy can be beneficial in many ways if you apply mind. For example solar energy being already tapped for electricity. Solar hot water have domestic uses can be beneficial for commercial applications like hot water for kitchens,resurants ,lodges, clubs,hostels,hospitals on a larger scale. Being a tropical country we have more opportunities. Industrial side boiler water preheating, hot water circulation or use in processes of food industry.Apart from sun drying hot water or thermic fluid can be circulated for indoor drying process.The fuel or electricity required could be partially reduced in combination with solar heaters. Hydel energy for motive or power in mountains terrain where water streams flow throughout the year or partial. Similarly wind power is being tapped for electricity through generators. Earlier days in Europe wind mills where used for flour mills waterpumps, drainage pumps etc.We need to use for similar applications wherever possible. New cont'd----

concrete building absorbs heat and glasses traps heat so we need to change our building making process and materials. such that we can make our building livable and sustainable. we need work on this kind of skycool system. which can reflect the unwanted radiation and also able to pass unwanted radiation to make interior cool. therefore it can decrease the energy consumption of airconditioner, refrigeration. it can also installed in solar module to decrease the temperature this it can increase efficiency of the solar. ''Conversion of inorganic fertilizer into organic through green manure'' Usually, we not apply any inorganic fertilizer for green manure, instead of that if inorganic fertilizer applied directly to green manure, it will respond quickly and absorb the nutrients which inturn is converted to organic form but it should be grown in the field other than the main crop field so as to maintain the organic production. Thus the forced nutrients into the green manure are readily available for easy intake of main crop cultivation along with the common benefits without compromising organic certification.

Dear sir, For environmental sustainable future we can do one thing, as you had also seen various advertisements in tvs regarding products, elections and more so what people need is the awareness towards environment. Not only normal people at ground level are responsible for degradation of environment but also high officials fully responsible. Last month I visited the sultanpur national park gurugram , haryana . There I see very bad development projects inside the park, concrete roads, watch towers and all and we all know that a natual place won't need a concrete road still there is a road it's a very little thing but a matter of concers why development projects going inside the national park, is really wild animals needs concrete roads. Humans are trying to make a natural place a artificial one. So my request to the honorable PM sir is this plzz look into these types of matters and emphasised on planting more and more trees, and lesser the needs of concretes.

Environment is a base of human being life cycle.it is our duty to protect it. 1 Rain water has to be stored for future use in any activity. 2 one man , one plant concept has to be adopted for large scale plantation. 3 Environmental education should be given in education institution. 4 Green school concept is a way to set mindset of student and their parent. 5 Sawan is a holy month in Hindu dharma.it should be announced as plantation month. 6 Every festival is celebrated as eco friendly and take dome step for environment.

Sir, we are not using our wet vegetable waste in converting in to organic manure. I salute Ramkrishna mission bringing awareness among people in converting kitchen vegetables waste in to organic manure. Same concept we have to use in manufacturing organic manure and ready garden mix soil in a bulk way. First of all wet green kitchen waste should be allotted separate area -(yard )from the dry waste. People have already started segregating dry and wet waste. All the perimeter of the wet waste yard should have one ton to two ton organic manure manufacturing’ tower unit supported by man power. You can have say about 1000 such towers surrounding the green waste yard. Manure preparation process takes time and cow dung also can be added in this process. These manure can be filled in 25 kg bags and suppled to farmers and gardeners in subsidised rates or free as in USA. Old buses can be used as green buses ( some back seats removed)for farmers to take vegetable to market.

Dear Prime Minister, along with the progress of the country, some questions have also arisen. One of them is Disposal of waste plastic. Problems like waterlogging and overflowing drains in most urban areas during the rainy season show the unfortunate condition of the city. An excellent initiative has been taken by the government by banning single use plastic. Some suggestions to eliminate the problem of waste plastic disposal. 1) Collection centers of plastic waste, vapor etc. should be started through corporate sector. Where people dispose of waste plastic bins, boxes or other items, they get credit points from the municipality or the municipality and this gives them relief in the tax of the municipality according to the credit points. 2) Plastic bottles like shampoo, hair oil, other products for which a waste plastic collection center should be started from the company itself. People should get a discount on the new product of the same company according to the waste plastic.
