India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

During heavy rainy season many dams gets full and excess water is discharged to avoid flooding in nearby areas. These excess water released from the dam are not stored and it is wasted and let out into sea. Central Government can take steps to store these excess water and divert them to the agricultural lands through pipe lines. This will help the farmers to use the pure rain water. Likewise during severe flooding in agricultural areas there should be a proper canals to drain the water and store them in dry & unused wells. This is help the ground water table level get increased. All State Governments should work with Central Government in conserving the excess water getting wasted and mixing with the sea without any use. Create water storage units in unused dry lands and distribute it to drinking purpose in areas

the Banyan is national tree of India, along with peepal it should be promoted, it must be grown and planted in government offices, Also on Vat Poornima every indian should worship the Banyan tree , use it as a toothpaste it has many medical use, researchers should work on this, also lord krishna said in bhagavad gita ऊर्ध्वमूलमध:शाखमश्वत्थं प्राहुरव्ययम् | छन्दांसि यस्य पर्णानि यस्तं वेद स वेदवित् || 15.1 || There is a banyan tree which has its roots upward and its branches down, and the Vedic hymns are its leaves. One who knows this tree is the knower of the Vedas." (Bg 15.1) Also peepal tree gives oxygen 24 hours, every citizen should share selfie with their peepal tree with 'my peepal my pride' also Bhagavad Gita quoted : अश्वत्थ: सर्ववृक्षाणाम् 10.26 in education these trees should be promoted to include it's uses in lifestyle, then and then conservation of it can be possible as Tulsi is being grown in every home

Sustainable Life can predict by Sustainable Environment. Lives grow biotics and it's diversity in nature looks beautiful. we the human being should care of our Ecology systems and processes. use very less things which is Lead and Mercury. use very less things which is plastic. use very less things which is poisonous. use very less things which is increase pollution.

भारत के यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी आपके नेतृत्व में देश प्रगति करने में निरन्तर अपने बुलंदियों की ओर बढ़ रहा है और देश को पूरा विश्वास है कि आगे भी इसी तरह प्रगति करते हुए आगे बढ़ता जाएगा। श्रीमान जी पर्यावरण आज के युग में सुधार की बड़ी आवश्यकता हो गई है पर्यावरण दिन पर दिन खराब होते जा रहा है और अभी इस पर सरकार तथा देशवासी कुछ नहीं करते हैं तो आगे बड़ी समस्या पैदा हो जाएगी । इसलिए सबसे पहले जरूरी है कि देश में प्लास्टिक पर बैन लगे और फिर दुबारा चालू न हो पाए यह पहला कदम

On my view environment needs plantation on real basis,rural uban proper water drainage system ,use of organic manure instead of chemical fertilizers, population control, sanitation ,wild life protection,water conservation , reduction of more vehicles registration and promotion of advance electric vehicle. all these should be on the ground basis not on paper. for this volunteer should be engaged.
