India is missing out the opportunity of utilising the rainwater and it also leads to flood and loss of drinking water. Some areas has exceptional depleted ground water and it would be hazardous if steps are not taken to conserve water.
A low cost modular Rain-Water Harvesting system should be distributed by the government by a scheme especially for the owners of an appartment or a land area. It can fullfill the needs of drinking as well as every other household requirements. Seperate modules for rainwater harvesting should be made with different area requirements.
By the help of technology apart from water utilities, electricity can also be generated. Those who are willing can just apply to it with the government schemes.
There are several people sharing such modules even in YouTube, people just need to be aware and I am sure most Indians will be interested in it because of savings in water and electricity. Example of one such YouTube modular I am sharing... best regards, Sudarshan

More than 90% of India's population lives in areas where air quality is below World Health Organization standards. India saw 16.7 lakh air pollution-related deaths in 2019. New Delhi named as the capital with the worst air quality in the world.
Government involvement includes….
1. reducing toxic emissions from industrial sources;
2. reducing emissions from vehicles and engines through new stringent emission standards and cleaner burning gasoline;
3. addressing indoor air pollution though voluntary programs.
Dust & Construction contribute about 59% to the air pollution in India, which is followed by Waste Burning. Grow GRASS program is essential on open land.

Food forests (also known as “forest gardens”) are based on natural forest ecosystems and designed permaculture systems that consist of a multilayered edible “forest.” These food forests are composed almost entirely of perennial food plants, including a canopy of tall and dwarf fruit and nut trees, a fruit shrub layer, layers of perennial herbs, mushrooms and vegetables at the ground level, climbing plants, and root vegetables underground.
Food forest systems are very productive because of both the diversity of plants that are growing there and all the plants are take advantage of each existing niche within the system.

Crop rotation is a tried and tested method used since ancient farming practices proven to keep the soil healthy and nutritious. Crop rotation has a logical explanation to it – the crops are picked in a pattern so that the crops planted this season replenish the nutrients and salts from the soil that were absorbed by the previous crop cycle. For example, row crops are planted after grains to balance the used nutrients.
