India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

R5 - Recover forests plant fruit bearing plants. Which inturn gives birds & animals to multiply. It's all a nature created balance. Which humans are encroaching & we can see wild animals coming into villages, towns & now outskirts of cities. It's a cycle of survival for birds and animals which we are interfering in the name of development. Developed countries have realized what they have lost with industrialisation. When they see acid rains,smog they realize what little they could do to reverse it. Because without industrialisation their economic activities will come to halt. We need to have careful guidelines to ensure the balance by improving our forest cover. We have advanced facilities & have to apply mind with futuristic approach for a large population like ours. Healthy life needs clean air,water,food to reduce medical expenses of the population. We should aim at developing our economy with least impact understanding from other countries failures.

Environmentally Sustainable Future 1: Please find the picture of firefly for better understanding. In our mother land India, we had this firefly all over. But now, it's not the case. Renewable, sustainable, etc this firefly can be protected and research can be done to transform energy from the components of the chemical reactions taking place within which produces light. Jai Hind🇮🇳

जल आज नहीं तो 'कल' नहीं है प्रकृति का जल प्रकृति तक .. with technology we invented new ideas but what about preserve/conserve water sources with clean/pure water that technology also cn help us in change r thought with maturity/responsibility how now we r thinking of sea water 2usable but human didn't having besic sense of storage of water if u succeed in it then will it also vanish so what 2do that by reuse waste plastic/gadgets pipeline underground in another way by deep irrigation system not 2 waste of water by human then underground water pipes made by reuse or roadside that will conserve water & somewhere r flood or drought so try 2 established cross connectivity 2mould or storage now if observe due 2 climate change बारीश पहले जैसी धुवाधार नहीं होति 2/3 घंटे होगि फीर रुक जाऐगि और वो इतने उप्पर से बिलीव कि छोटी सी बुंदेdue 2only speed damage the road so also4it-do while construction the road use under road foam type means use of trees wasteपरेली..

# Regulatory on population explosion. # Sustainable Environment my request to our all political parties to ensure and pass a bill in parliament for control on population explosion. this should do as soon as possible, regards with all Community and religion. R3- Recycling of used concrete structures. Generally steel is -salvaged as it fetches better rates inspite of labour involved in segregation. Normally for construction activities rock is mined & crushed. If the concrete is recycled in a mechanized way the aggregate & sand can be recovered to some extent economically. This can save mining to some extent. The debris of old concrete structures, buildings, bridges, concrete roads is normally used as land fill. These materials have to be shifted outside cities or towns for dumping. Crushers with proper mechanization in a special zone can generate useful materials for partial use in ready mix plants. Some of the reject materials can be used for road laying or land fill. Use of these materials should be technically evaluated for economics & strength .

प्रकृति अनुकूल जीवन शैली व्रत, उपवास, निवृत्ति धर्म का पालन तर्क संगत उपयोग, संतोष, संयम अल्पचर्या पालन, रात्रिचर्या का निषेध, समाधि, ध्यान, पूर्ण निद्रा, ब्रह्मचर्य अर्थात् धर्म का पालन

धर्म धर्म पालन पर बल दिया जाए। संयम ही जीवन है। संतोष परम सुख है। संयम व संतोष प्रकृति के संरक्षण के लिए आवश्यक हैं। निवृत्ति धर्म प्रवर्तन करा जाए। प्रकृति के संरक्षण के लिए निवृत्ति मार्ग आवश्यक है।

For an Environmentally sustainable future ,we should have to do these things: 1. we should have to use the ultimate source of energy,It mean that solar energy. 2. we should plant more trees as much as we can.... 3. we should try to not to use plastic or any non bio-degradable things at high quantity. 4. we should have to save the drinking water,For future generations. 5. we should have to stop or limit the using of fossil fuels and should have to save it for future generations. 6. we should have to use and save the natural resources which will be renewed quickly.Like Air,drinking water etc.... 7. we should have to do agriculture as a part of our life . 8. we should have to develop our technologies for the better and good way of life.

For saving planet earth all resources shall be used optimally. I have money to purchase whatever I wish doesn't mean that I have got the right to waste global resources. This feeling of self realisation has to be inculcated in every person. It may be difficult to change the habit of elders but we can mould the young minds. For this contents for saving planet earth shall be included in school books. The study materials shall be made part of civics, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics etc so that children can learn importance of saving environment in different contexts as environmental issues are not just matter of study of one particular subject.
