We in Pune have an organization called Jeevitnadi-Living River Foundation. The main rivers in Pune Mula and Mutha have shaped the city since ancient time. However the recent growth of the city has transformed these rivers into sewage gutters. Taking this challenge, we as an organization have been working towards public awareness that each and everybody is responsible for the pollution of the river and we all have to join hands in turning them into rivers again. One of our principal concept is that WE ALL CAN KEEP THE RIVERS CLEAN FROM OUR HOMES by adopting a Sustainable and Toxin Free Lifestyle. We have been celebrating the Mutha river by conducting the MUTHAI FESTIVAL every year sine 2015, to make people aware about the rivers we have in our cities and why conservation of those is of paramount importance.
