Namaste Manyawar,
Being a teacher , I find it very painful when my children had to carry heavy school bags from school gate to their class rooms situated in 1st or 2nd floor. Some of the parents have found a way by providing trolley school bags to their wards. But that cannot be a solution as not all the parents can efford it.
I would like to suggest introduction of text books in part basis. Like Text book part I, containing lessons of 1st quarter of all the four subjects . Text book part II, containing the lessons of 2nd quarter and like that. This way children will be bringing just one textbook at a time instead of 4 textbooks together.
Also , in place of separate notebooks, file system can be introduced, where children can do their written work in loose sheets and file it according to different subjects. This will reduce the weight of school bags to a great extent.
Regards
Navaneeta Bhattacharyya

On the auspicious occasion of 75th Year of Independence, can we initiate & implement Zero Waste Day once a week like Every Sunday. In India, during next year till next Independence, we can implement a thought of "Transformation from Use & Throw to Use that is thrown". It will motivate every citizen towards Recycle, Reuse & Reduce the Garbage.

Train tickets booked are to be cancelled if the journey or passenger is not travelling. With a lot of difficulty we get the desired reservation. Instead of cancelling the ticket, there should be a system of postponing the journey with a nominal processing fee which is practiced in a number of flight tkts.Similarly if a person in a group cannot travel, a substitute must be allowed in his place.

I am a teacher by passion and I believe that children today are the future of our nation and play very important role in building a strong and sustainable nation. What makes me feel so low from inside is that inspite of our efforts in education field to nurture the little brains ,our bright brains today are moving out and serving other nations. Holding good post and position there. If we are able to provide more opportunities to them in our nation to groom, earn good and bring innovations then we can prevent them from moving out for opportunities. We at all cost have to stop the brain drain if we really want to make our nation grow. We are no less than anyone in this world and we can together prove it. This is really the need of the hour.
Thanks
