Sir, I'm RAVICHANDRAN farmer from Nannilam, Tamil Nadu. I'm really happy that GOI will be honoring our outstanding Sports Personalities with KHEL RATAN AWARD. At the same time I feel our Govt must institute " KRISHI RATAN AWARD "to honor and encourage outstanding FARMERS and FARM SCIENTISTS. We are the ones who drive away hunger & malnutrition. In spite of the low profitability & high risk we continue to perform our duties. If the nation has to prosper economically ,farmers must prosper

Dear Prime minister Modi, I would like you to talk on development of sports in India. It is noteworthy that 119 Indian athletes qualified for the games, but it is equally important to provide these top athletes with all the necessary facilities all around the year. We cannot expect medals when the quality of training, and facilities are low, and pressure to support family high. How can athletes become the best in these trying circumstances? Can you kindly share your views.

My mom and dad are not comfortable with ATM Cash Withdrawal because, every bank ATM have different MENU for using ATM machine. For example in some banks ATM you have to first enter secret pin number first and then required denomination. Where as in other bank you have to first enter then secret pin. Please have same MENU for all banks ATM. If all banks will have similar MENU then it will be more user friendly then common man /villagers will use ATM for withdrawal with confidence.#MannKiBaat

Bringing Youth into Politics: Sir, many young Indians are working as Salaried employees in the private sector. The Salary is the only source of income for such persons. How is it practically feasible to quit his/her job and contest elections. Could the "Indian Labor Law" provide job security for such aspiring young citizens, so that he/she can get back to his/her job back after contesting elections or completing his/term as a politician.

It is very embarrassing to see people alighting from their cars and two wheeler on highways and just start urinating in full public view.Interestingly, most of them look well educated and well off .Such scene irritates more if we are accompanied by ladies.Nowadays there are petrol pumps every 3-4 kms which are equipped with good public utilities and drinking water provided free of cost.To answer call of nature we should park vehicles there and use such facilities.-Manjitinder Singh Johal,Ludhiana

Every government offices in our country install Air cooler during summer seasons i.e, from April to June. The additional electricity is required to operated Air cooler and there is load on grid. In the office the Air cooler are required to be operate during day time i.e, from 9 am to 5.30 pm. During this time the Sun light is at the peak. If instead of conventional Air Cooler a Solar based Air cooler is replaced there will be drastic reduction in power consumption.#MannKiBaat

upcoming few months are full of festivals. at times the festivals lead to immense harm to land/water/forest and air. it will be an achievement if we can minimize the environment impact. we would like to hear message from PM on how can this be done without impacting the grandeur of the festival. and also how the local bodies can set up measurement system to roll out comparison on how we have fared on environment conservation versus last year

Sir, in Bangalore, I see people openly skipping traffic lights, not wearing helmets, 3-4 people on a 2-wheeler etc. There aren't enough policemen to man traffic everywhere. My suggestion is to create a contract traffic police force of around 100-200 citizens who could be given authority to act as policeman in plainclothes. This will make people more disciplined and give citizens a chance to enforce rules as well. Hopefully this creates a collective atmosphere of discipline.
