One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

Let there be an OPPORTUNITY (not compulsion) to participate in Nation Building for the people who (a) are NOT required to pay taxes as per current rules and (b) people who are required to pay taxes but don't pay because they don't disclose all their income for whatsoever reasons, by donating a voluntary amount which is not linked in any way to their incomes under a separate head in the ITR called as "Voluntary Donation for Nation Building".

Doctors are not paying Service Tax as per their daily inocme. A MBBS Doctor is earning minimum 50000-200000 Rs per day, but are not paying Tax as per Rules, this is a small picture of small cities like Muzaffarnagar. They are charging 300-1000 per patient and atteding 100-200 per day. Government wants Tax as per Rules from HUF but NOT taking hard decision for doctors and many professionals.

India is not ruled by strong people who can tax the rich harmlessly and halving the service tax on the general public. The rich can die and bequeath 10000 crores without any estate duty tax ,they don't have to pay wealth tax on their 4000 crore houses or jet planes, they have the best chartered accountants to see that their income tax doesn't exceed one or two crores .But the poor man he is subject to summons to explain 20000 telephone purchase or travel expenses.there is no justice or fair play

Flavoured or healthy milk distributed for child, pragnant woman, backward area, for health care of child and woman under the Central or State govt. scheme,e.i."MILK SANJIVANI SCHEME" in Gujarat for improving health of child,& pregnant woman, etc.,the excise duly rate is 2% or 6% on such milk, The milk supplier are not ready to supply such milk only due to excise duty factor, hence, the excise duty on such scheme should be abolished as the duty is NIL under MILK FOR BABIES, hence, do proper,Thanks,

The world will come down if india were to charge stt @just two percent in stock n commodity market transactions only .total turnover every day I'd in excess of five lac crores.two percent means 10000 crores every day.multiply by 20 working days in month..you have in excess of two lac. Crores every month to clear nation debt. Is the common man burdened with tax or inflation as a result of this tax on the rich who gamble or invest in the stock market as only the rich can have so much free cash.

We are a nation which specialize in squeezing our own countrymen and giving extra freedom to foreigners be it in e retail ,or fii investment or DTA agreements.this govt can earn beautifully more than 2 lac crores per month by just charging 2% stt tax on stock n commodity mktsthe playground of the rich who can earn or lose upto 40% every single day.why can't they have transaction tax of just 2%.The foreigners are ruling us.Its a myth we are a free nation. This tax can never happen .

Sir you cannot have some sectors of the economy completely tax free in the interest of fair play .only the rich gamble on the stock market. They pay no capital gains tax as you have exempted long term holdings beyond one year.so in effect if the world know modi govt is going to take the country forward and mkts are likely to go up they can invest two lac crores and make an equal amt of profit next year tax free as you have neither MAT nor wealth tax for them nor capital gains.
