One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

with regard to GST integration of existing tax revenue authorities namely central excise, sales tax, service tax and customs is utmost priority. secondly identifying the roles of each and every vertical existing when combined into a single vertical. thirdly sharing of revenues between the central and state government. fourth unique identification numbers collating existing registrations. suggest each existing registration should be identifiable by a code in the newly structured code.

In respect to GST, It is the spirit of govt.& hon.PM to pass the bill with the support and common concesus of all the party.I want to suggest that, the bill of GST should be put before the RS first, & support of TMC,NCP,JDU,SP,BSP, AIDMK,BIJU,AND such other parties are ready to pass the bill in the large public interest, hence, if congress do not support the bill, they should be ignored and GST bill should be passed in RS and no problem to pass in LS. we hope to pass in this session, best of luck

The MOF can look at increasing the basic limit for exemption for individuals to Rs. 720000/-as cost of living is extremely high. It may be added here that to energise the economy and to stimulate it more money in the hands of the people will provide a basis for increase in consumption other than basic neccessities like food. It may trigger more expenditure in housing/ consumer goods/ clothing etc. which in turn spur the economy for more development and production.
