One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

Issue and launch Govt bonds in multiples of Rs 5 lakhs or more to unearth black money within the country with a maturity value of 10 years or more. No question should be asked for the source of money or identity proof while buying the bonds and should be allowed for circulation with in general public till its maturity date. But the only condition will be that upon maturity of the bond, the bond holder will get their money back only in his bank account. This could help to unearth black money.

Abolish / Merge Income Tax Department with GST tax regime. This will help to bring back all the black money back to main stream economy. IT dept is the No.1 enemy of Indian citizens comparing to Pakistan.

Highest tax bracket should be lowered from 30% or tax brackets should be made broader. E.g 30% tax bracket should be introduced for people earning 20 lac+. This will help stop black money where people will not try to save money by not declaring it. Overall taxed money in India will increase and more money will be collected as taxes. #taxpolicy

There are many billions of bills raised by public Utility companies each month. As all consumers of Utilities will have a Bank account now, the consumers should be encouraged to opt for payment under ECS, by offering suitable incentives. This will allow the entire collection machinery can be disbanded, resulting in huge saving for the Utilities.

Govt is finally going to seal the LPG subsidy for the "haves" of the society. I would say that its a good step in making........We can save/earn money even more hugely when we do...... *****Government should develop land pockets for various residential, commercial & public purposes and sell accordingly. Benefits-each citizen may be able to get land from Government only and also by eliminating middle men we may save hard earned money from being wasted.Government would also earn money from it.

A lion share of prisoners can easily come out of the jails and can contribute meaningfully into nation building. This would save a lot of money that Government is currently spending into their living in prisons.
