One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

HON FM sir the TDS area has to be strengthened and to be made full proof since this is the area from where the highest revenue generation is taking place. Where as the IT department is not fully equipped this sector to its required level both technically and non technical. For example many people/staff who are in this sector not even aware how to come over the TDS problems and how to help the people in when they are in need

Hon FM sir the TDS deduction and complying with other procedural aspects are lacking behind and because of this the detectees are put in to trouble. The It department is also not taking much effort on it due to shortage of man power.

Hon FM sir TDS is the area which needs lot of awareness among the public, Government and with Banks. A regular programs on TDS with what to do and what not to do, How to do and what is the penalty for defaulters is to be made. As of now even Railways, PWDs and some other important State and central Govt organisations are not doing it properly. Why your own IT department is not doing it properly telling the reason staff shortage. this should be sorted out immediately.

@kalraj Mishra - Thanks for making MSME registration paper less & without fee. NSIC certificate renewal should also be online & paperless, the fee charged by NSIC is too high looking to the advantages one get with this registration. Lot of paper work involved without any reason. NSIC can obtain data from MCA website without any trouble

The tax leakage is parked in real estate, real estate monitoring just like CIBIL report will discourage people to park their black money.

Problem is not lack of policies or laws but implementation. There are many retired Sr honest & capable Govt officials, who would be willing to volunteer for giving feedback to designated authorities on the progress of project or anything involving finance. Pool of such officials can be made & their services can be taken. The project should be in close proximity of the retired official.Apart from getting regular inputs, Govt getting a second opinion would only plug some loopholes of corruption.

it s also not correct to think tht these small establishments are started by poor it s amisnover to call a bakery with 10-15 lakh investment ony on interior design to be called a small entity by poor so put such outwardly noticeable criteria too in assessing abt establishments....
