The General Aids to Marine Navigation along the Indian Coast is administrated by Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) as per Lighthouse Act, 1927. Over the period of time maritime sector has undergone massive change. There have been enormous technological developments in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation. To incorporate the global best practices, technological developments and India's International obligations in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation, the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 is prepared to replace existing Lighthouse Act 1927.

The Draft Aids to Navigation Bill (to replace Lighthouse Act 1927) is hereby circulated for comments of all concerned.

प्रिय प्रधानमंत्री जी, नेविगेशन भारत का विशाल जलपोत तंत्र है, जिसमें आधुनिकता के साथ सुधार और तकनीकी परिवर्तन की सहज आवश्यकता है। नेविगेशन को नेटवर्क, एंड्रॉयड और सुरक्षा एवं सूचना के आधारभूत आधुनिक समावेशों के साथ विकसित किया जाए ताकि जलपोत तंत्र मज़बूत होकर भारत को सक्षम बना सके और देश के आर्थिक विकास में मददगार साबित हो।

Respected Modi jii ...... kindly pay attention to government jobs it's really needed.... increase vacancies, increase government exams , government posts etc..... and most importantly do this in time.... as you know some exams are pending for more than 2 years..... it's really depressing for the candidates and the young generation ..... I hope you will do this job also in time as you do the others..... I beg to pay attention in this matter as it is much needed for the betterment of the society .

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी को सादर प्रणाम।सर सबसे पहले हमारे नेविगेशन सिस्टम को अत्याधुनिक बनाने की आवश्यकता है।सभी पोतों को GPS से जोड़ना होगा।निगरानी तंत्र को और मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता है।सुरक्षा मानकों पर विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।

DURING THE PERIOD OF CORONA , TO CREATE ADDITIONAL REVENUE FOR THE GOVERNMENT, IN SHARE MARKET TRANSACTIONS , GOVT CAN IMPOSE CORONA TAX ( LIKE SECURITY TRANSACTIONS TAX) . EVEN A SMALL PERCENTAGE CAN BRING MORE REVENUE AND IT WONT AFFECT POOR COMMON PEOPLE AND IT WONT CREATE INFLATION TOO.... THE ENTIRE AMOUNT CAN BE USED FOR CORONA RELIEF FOR THE COUNTRY
