The government should avail bank loan to local people to buy rubber boat, motor boat, water scoot etc. on affordable EMI. so that they can pay it regularly through their income. And make their business. The swimming competition and boat competition will help nation to make world class athletes who will win Asian games medals and Olympic medals.
However, this is job of sports and culture department but important thing is that all are department of central government and there is need of coordination among the various department and drive joint venture to take advantage of multiple aspect of one project.
A rive can be a means of transportation but it can be also means of tourism and sports; A boat can carry goods, cattle and human being. It can also make a great swimmer. it can also create lots of new jobs. It can improve the life experience of common people of small town and even villagers. There is need to strong will and determination.

Apart from this i would like to suggest The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, to take advantage of rivers. Open swimming school on the bank of rives and trained local young generation to take part in the swimming competition. Replace old boat from modern high take boat, water scooter etc. and make commercial water park in the river.
People will enjoy boating, racing on water scooter. It will give employment to local people and opportunity to enjoy their life in new way. There should be some specialist who trained and give necessary equipment like lifeboat and some staff deployed to save life of people if they commit mistake. It will not give employment and enjoyment to local people but it will generate revenue for the government. Continue........

The biggest benefit of transportation through waterway is that it will help to short out or lessen one of the biggest problem of our country that is continue from thousands of year, is flood in every year. When big ship and goods carrying boat will run in the river, it will deepen the river and through out extra soil, rock, garbage etc. flow in the river water.
When the river will get deeper, then its' capacity to hold water will increase, therefore in the rainy season or Monsoon, the river will hold maximum water and less water will spread on land. It will help to reduce the flood in the country and save billions of rupees that spend every year as a flood relief fund. this fund can be spend in other project. It will also save crops, human's and animals' life. This is indeed fascinating project by the government. I appreciated the effort of our government, specially our honorable prime minister sir. of our former prime minister Late Sri Atal Bihari Bajpayeeji. I would like to suggest some ideas to take it on the broad level and connect waterway through river to ocean. But the big problem in the way is, there are great deal of small and big bridges, made over all of the rivers in our country. These bridges are of railway bridges and road bridges.
The distance between two pillars are so narrow that even a small ship cannot pass through it. So there is need to use such technique that broaden the space under the bridge and make way for the ship and big boat. It will not only help to send goods from water way but people can also take fun of travel through waterways. It will reduce the over traffic problem on national high way as well as reduce the road accident, hours road jam and save times. It will help people to save some time and use this time for other productive and creative job. Even people will get some extra time to spend with family. Continue........

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways has taken a nice decision to develop an ecosystem for the development of Ro-Ro(Roll on, Roll off) ferries and waterway transportation throughout the nation, under the Sagarmala Programme. It is fantastic decision of government of India and recall and compare to traditional modes of transportation, this method of transportation offers a number of advantages, including shorter travel distances, cheaper logistics, and less pollution.
The draft guidelines aim to standardise and streamline the development and operation of ferry services, as well as, promote ease of doing business by reducing delays and conflicts, Additionally, guidelines will aid in boosting private players' confidence, hence expanding their involvement and encouraging healthy competition in such ventures. I am very glad to read this that honorable Prime Minister sir has lift up the responsibility to give physical reality to this project that was also a dream - Conti..
