The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, under the Sagarmala Programme, intends to create an ecosystem for the development of Ro-Ro (Roll-on, Roll-off) ferries and waterway transportation throughout the nation. When compared to traditional modes of transportation, this method of transportation offers a number of advantages, including shorter travel distances, cheaper logistics, and less pollution.

The draft guidelines aim to standardise and streamline the development and operation of ferry services, as well as, promote ease of doing business by reducing delays and conflicts, Additionally, guidelines will aid in boosting private players' confidence, hence expanding their involvement and encouraging healthy competition in such ventures.

The draft of Guidelines for Operationalization of Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax ferry service along the coast of India is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

Ro-Ro (Roll-on/roll-off ) ferry service is better than using cranes for loading and unloading, because the latter take a lot of time. Ro-Pax ferry service (roll-on/roll-off passenger) is useful when the road distance between the points is more.

during all the sorties of ferry and such a type of vehicle and a ship there should be a guideline for safety and it's related equipments like life jackets,EPRIB and signal pistol anr other major equipment.

Ro - Ro ferry service is a best and cheapest way of transportation. 1 River should be connected for fulfill water needs for transportation. 2 Basic facility should be available in different stoppage for their freshness. 3 Repairing centre should be established for maintenance of their boat and related service. 4 police administration should be deployed in river ghat. 5 ware house should be construct for store goods in bank of river .

भारत में जिस भी शहर में रो रो फेरी का संचालन हो रहा उन सभी की जानकारी एक आधिकारिक एप्प पर उपलब्ध हो और उसपर लगने वाला किराया व आने जाने की समय सारिणी भी उपलब्ध हो और आनलाईन बुकिंग की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध हो जैसे रेलवे में आईआरसीटीसी है। इस एप्प के माध्यम से लोगों को सरलता होगी वह रो रो फेरी के उपयोग में भी वृद्धि होगी।। जानकारी के अभाव में भी बहुत से लोग इसके उपयोग से वांक्षित हो जाते हैं। अतः सरकार से निवेदन है कि रो रो फेरी का एक आधिकारिक एप्प बनाया जाए और उसका सफल क्रियान्वयन किया जाए।। धन्यवाद

രാജ്യ വികസനത്തിന് അനുയോജ്യമായിട്ടുള്ള ഇത്തരം പദ്ധതികൾ രാജ്യത്തിന് അത്യന്താപേക്ഷിതമാണ് രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ മത്സ്യ സമ്പത്ത് വളരുന്നതിന് മറ്റു മേഖലകളിലെ പോലെ കടൽ മേഖലയ്ക്കും ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ തീരദേശ മേഖലയ്ക്കും ശക്തിപ്പെടുന്നത് രാജ്യത്തിൻറെ മുഴുവൻ ശക്തി വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നതിനും കാരണമാകും അക്കാരണത്താലും അതുപോലെതന്നെ മത്സ്യബന്ധന തൊഴിലാളികൾക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സുരക്ഷിതത്വം നൽകുന്ന ഇത്തരം പദ്ധതികൾ രാജ്യത്തിന് തന്നെ ഒരു മുതൽക്കൂട്ടാണ് മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാവുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള പദ്ധതികൾ ഇന്ത്യ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നത് അഭിമാനകരമാണ്

Coastal trade wil be enhanced with coordination Coastal VTS. Interstate cargo can be transported faster ,Establishing connectivity, Tourism wil be enhanced , as well creating job for people
