The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, under the Sagarmala Programme, intends to create an ecosystem for the development of Ro-Ro (Roll-on, Roll-off) ferries and waterway transportation throughout the nation. When compared to traditional modes of transportation, this method of transportation offers a number of advantages, including shorter travel distances, cheaper logistics, and less pollution.

The draft guidelines aim to standardise and streamline the development and operation of ferry services, as well as, promote ease of doing business by reducing delays and conflicts, Additionally, guidelines will aid in boosting private players' confidence, hence expanding their involvement and encouraging healthy competition in such ventures.

The draft of Guidelines for Operationalization of Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax ferry service along the coast of India is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

Govt is spending Rs 1,900 cr to support 45 Ro-Ro ferry projects. That means approx 40 cr per project. The Ro-Pax vessel, acquired from Greece, was built in September 2019 with the capability of carrying 500 passengers and up to 145 vehicles per trip. Passenger fares for outer deck seating is Rs. 225, indoor (AC) seating is Rs. 335 and VIP lounge is Rs. 555. This price level could result in annual 12+% ROI (Return On Investment). This is very profitable Biz as compared to 7% average for new startup. This kind of service is well suited for publicly traded companies hence profit goes back in the hands of share holders (common people). I am afraid that Profit made in Govt run biz can be beneficial to few corrupt government officers.

Dear All, This is an important alert to all My Gov participants. Aditya Mishra and Kachchad Navin Kumar Bhavanji both copy others ideas and suggestions and post it as their suggestion and get points fraudulently. They copy and paste others suggestions shamelessly and cheat. Admins must block these 2 fraudsters and cancel all their points earned by them so far. Many have started posting same suggestion multiple times. One more guy posts only very good nearly 50 times per discussion. Admins must remove these two copy pasters and cancel all their points earned by them so far immediately. They copy and paste I think they will shamelessly copy and paste this post also. Admins must disable copy and paste method and also posting the same suggestion multiple times to get more Points. If you find your suggestion copied and pasted by anyone please report them by sending the details in Feedback. Please see the attached screenshot of Aditya Mishra copied and pasted my suggestion.

This is to inform everyone that few of them are shamelessly copy others idea or comments as such and post in their accounts. after that they purposefully put dislikes to original comments. report such bad activities. One Mr. Aditya Mishra who have copied my comments as such was noticed. Screenshot of my comment and his same comment is attached. All of you see the timings of my post and his post. I have also noticed such activities by others too just making points. Try to understand this app is for helping the Government for getting different ideas not to make points.. Don't be so narrow minded

Some kind of short stories, movies, TV Serials shooting should permitted on the RoRo Ferry ship. Documentary films on Discovery channel, Nat Geo, National geographic, BBC Earth also should permitted. Feedback Response by all passengers should drop in Drop box, Email, in register and in documentary films collections and take necessary action according to majority.

I think everyone should participate in the competition that is going on in MyGov right now because these apps have the honor of our country's honorable Prime Minister so everyone can actually participate in any event or competition in these apps.
