The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, under the Sagarmala Programme, intends to create an ecosystem for the development of Ro-Ro (Roll-on, Roll-off) ferries and waterway transportation throughout the nation. When compared to traditional modes of transportation, this method of transportation offers a number of advantages, including shorter travel distances, cheaper logistics, and less pollution.

The draft guidelines aim to standardise and streamline the development and operation of ferry services, as well as, promote ease of doing business by reducing delays and conflicts, Additionally, guidelines will aid in boosting private players' confidence, hence expanding their involvement and encouraging healthy competition in such ventures.

The draft of Guidelines for Operationalization of Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax ferry service along the coast of India is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

Dear sir. Using water way near coast guards which will Ro Ro scheme must lookñin cheaper rates others than road & train. These department will gear up to guide locals to use this service.

This is India and we blessed with 7516.6 km coastline km since inception. But as We never utilise as much in term of plenty of opportunities to make a underground bullet train project and also used it to business purposes as well as travelling. So coastal area are enough for shorten the distance amoung coastal area, we needs to find out the way and grab the opportunity if any outsider company associate with us to improvement. Japan, Russia and America the Gaint are with us We can take help from them and find out the way of development into sea also. May be it will become good employment opportunities. We have metro with the help of Japan Now take a hyper loop help from Russia to shorten distance about to travel. Hope the all my suggestions are countable towards my loyalty for my nation. I want the Indian are make proud of, we produced something from sea also. Isn't is remarkable achievement? ya, sure we will do something extra ordinary and some beyond the boundaries. सागर माला पारी योजना के अंतर्गत रो रो सेवा को सीमित और इनके संचालकों की जाँच परख के बाद ही यह सेवा शुरू की जाए।इन सेवाओं के संचालकों पर नजर रखने की पूर्ण व्यवस्था होनी चाहिये।

सागरमाला परियोजना में रो रो सेवा के लिये समय निर्धारित किया जाए।अच्छा होगा यह सेवा प्रातः से शाम 07 बजे तक ही संचालित हो।इसकी निगरानी के लिये सुरक्षा और खुफिया व्यवस्था भी सक्रिय लगाई जाए।

सागर माला परियोजना के तहत जल परिवहन सेवा को पर्यावरण के अनुकूल रो रो सेवा शुरू करने की संकल्पना अच्छी है।सबसे जरूरी चीज है।इन सेवाओं की निगरानी के लिये सख्त और सक्रिय व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।जिससे इस सेवा का दुरुपयोग न किया जा सके।

प्रधानमंत्री जी,रो रो सेवा आपकी अच्छी सोच है।इससे कम समय माल ढुलाई और लोगो को रोजगार के अवसर भी उपलब्ध होंगे।जनता के कल्याण और रोजगार के लिये बेहतरीन योजना है।
