Scope of Improvement area
The role of government agencies are inadequate as private players are engaged with their poor infrastructures since long.
The ferry ghats are not up to the mark, lacking with basic amenities and improper lighting arrangements which constraints the smooth flow of traffic in late hours.
Another situation which makes people not to prefer ferry service is scarcity of proper connectivity with main thoroughfare and hassel free journey without interruption.
Ferry service can be popularized if the same would be utilize by the persons, those are popular among the masses.
Most of the canal network is passing through villeges. Hence care shall be taken so as to do not interfere agriculture activities.
Due to movement of vessels, canal bunds will be subjected to soil erosion, therefore revitment or lining to be done for canal.
Water Passage to agriculture land through sluice/ irrigation channels should not be effected.
