A draft of the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2025 has been prepared that aims to provide a comprehensive framework for all skilling and entrepreneurship activities being carried out in the country, and to align them with the national priorities. My suggestion is, First and foremost, there should be at least one Research institute on Vedas, Upanishads & other Bharathiya books, regional utilisation of Vedas, our culture, our oral knowledge that was passed on from our ancestors, regional knowledge which is indigenous to that area, in every district of our country. The main aim of this institute should be to study all these knowledges and to harness them to the present day conditions. For example, if teaching is a skill, then this institution should study all those books, knowledge, history everything and has to provide a framework for present Bharathiya teaching skills. Like wise for every skill, there is abundance of knowledge available in this land from prehistoric times. What these institutes have to do is, research and get what was the quintessential concept behind all those skills & compare that to the present time & do a balancing of which is advanced & what should be adopted for our current time and train the people in it.

For achieving higher rate of placements through schemes under Skill India Mission, there is a need to develop a robust real time demand aggregation mechanism and Industries play a pivotal role in aligning the demand and supply. The real time demand aggregation will yield higher output ratio and all the schemes shall be aligned with this approach
